If you don't charge for every hour and every small service, then how do you make a profit?
By eliminating transactional engagements and fee-based services in favor of long-term relationships and value-based services.
What are the value-based services?
Services priced according to the value of the service to the client, not on hourly rate calculations. Once the value is agreed upon, we focus on doing whatever is necessary to achieve the goals of the engagement, not remaining budget or billable activity.
So you're principled, and you’re focused on things that are important to me. But do you actually do the work, or are you just the front-men?
We do the work. We will be involved in the day to day delivery of services for every engagement at your firm.
As your success continues to grow, how will you stay involved?
We won’t grow to be too large. We want to stay small so that we don't suffer from the problems of the large firms. We want a small group of select clients that we serve for the long term.
You keep mentioning the long-term relationships. Does this mean you'll try to sell the things I don't need just to maintain the relationship?
No. We believe that long-term relationships are built on honesty, integrity and exceptional performance, not a revolving client engagement. We will provide only the services that are both essential and of great benefit your company.
Does that mean you don't sponsor executive seminars at Pebble Beach?
No, we don't. If you want vacations, call the other firms. If you want results, call us.
